2008 was a mixed year for Nintendo. Their hardware and software sales were through the roof, however they lost some of the goodwill from their hardcore base by focusing on casual consumers. One of the companies that is stepping up to fill that void in 2009 is none other than their former rival, Sega. “The Conduit”, “Mad World”, and “House of the Dead” all look like top notch titles for the core gamers and to help spread the word about them Sega has announced that they will be at New York Comic Con (February 6-8, 2009) with demos of all three games. Check after the break for the full press release.
We’re pleased to announce that SEGA will have a booth at New York Comic Con (http://www.nycomiccon.com), February 6-8, 2009 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. We’ll have demos of MADWORLD, The House of the Dead: Overkill, and The Conduit for everyone to experience. In addition, the development teams from PlatinumGames and High Voltage Software will be at the SEGA booth. And to take the fun over-the-top, there will be some special zombie surprises!
Kellie and Aaron from the SEGA Community Team will be there to take lots of photos & videos, and live blog like crazy. We’re really looking forward to meeting as many people as we can!
