Speaking at an event in Tokyo Square Enix president Yoichi Wada announced that the company has “already shipped 1.8 million copies” of Final Fantasy XIII in Japan and hopes to “reach two million soon”.
Final Fantasy XIII released last Wednesday in Japan, so we should see these numbers reflected on the software sales charts later this week.
