Steven Metcalf – Review Writer
Bio: Steve Metcalf grew up in the Midwest but spent much of the last two decades living in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is now back in Minnesota . . . and he’s not sure how he feels about that. Steve fondly remembers his first videogame console as the Atari 2600. He not-so-fondly remembers the fact that his mom routinely kicked his butt in Omega Race. He spends much of his free time either writing or playing videogames – - so what better way to be productive than to write about videogames? Steve often writes while watching “speed runs” on Youtube which explains why the phrase “no, go right!” makes its way into his articles at odd times. Along with his writing duties at Gamer Investments, Steve has published a book about the videogame industry called RESET: A Videogame Anecdote. And he will go to his grave defending the NES Advantage as the greatest joystick ever made.
