The title is without question, the fastest selling XBLA title of the year, with over 600,000 units sold after three months on market. The 4th game in the series did well among all platforms, selling an estimated 260,000 units between its four major platforms, with XBLA leading the way.
The Dead Rising 2 Ninja Theme Pack is now available on Xbox Live, Games for Windows Live and the PlayStation Network. With the new ninja pack, Chuck gains a “stealth mode” that allows him to evade zombies by making it harder for them to detect Chuck’s presence.
The achievement of Dead Rising 2 is a result of the successful collaboration between Capcom and Vancouver based developer Blue Castle Games.
Further to the announcement of the acquisition of Blue Castle Games at Tokyo Games Show, Capcom is extremely pleased to confirm that this acquisition has now been ratified by the Canadian authorities, with this wholly owned subsidiary being known as Capcom Game Studio Vancouver.
