Sony planning to “migrate” older PS3 titles to digital

“It’s likely you will start to see older titles migrate to digital as they reach the end of their natural life cycle at retail. This can provide games with a new lease of life. For some products, it will make sense for publishers to provide digital content at the same time as boxed product. This can benefit both distribution channels and grow the market.” – PSN content manager Ross McGrath
