From THQ’s Q1 earnings report:
During the quarter, THQ shipped approximately 2.7 million units of UFC Undisputed 2010, which achieved an average Metacritic score of 85.
AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Jun 14, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) –THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced updated guidance for its fiscal first quarter ending June 30, 2010, and its fiscal year ending March 31, 2011, reflecting lower-than-anticipated sales of UFC(R) Undisputed(TM) 2010, and the strengthening US dollar.
For the fiscal first quarter ending June 30, 2010, the company expects non-GAAP net sales to be between $155 million to $165 million, which is below the company’s previous outlook of non-GAAP net sales in the range of $190 million to $200 million. The company also expects fiscal first quarter non-GAAP loss per share in the range of $0.20 to $0.30, compared with its previous outlook of breakeven.
Based on the revised outlook for UFC Undisputed 2010, combined with the strengthening US dollar, the company now expects to report full year non-GAAP net sales in the range of $845 million to $865 million and roughly breakeven non-GAAP earnings per share for the full year. Previous FY11 full year guidance was non-GAAP net sales in the range of $905 million to $920 million and non-GAAP earnings per share in the range of $0.25 to $0.30.

Together during Q3 the Wii and the DS account for 46.3% of THQ’s total net sales (25.3% of which was the Wii). For the nine month period they make up 32.5% of total net sales (16.1% Wii).
That’s pretty good considering the struggles some third-parties have had on the Wii.

As part of THQ’s earnings report today the company reveled some sales data for their mega hit UFC 2009 Undisputed and Red Faction: Guerrilla.
THQ extended its leadership in the fighting category with the addition of new multi-million unit title UFC 2009 Undisputed, which: has shipped more than 2.9 million units worldwide to date, was the #1 best-selling title1,2 in the US for the June quarter, was the #1 best-selling title2,3 from an independent publisher in the UK for the June quarter, and achieved an average Metacritic rating of 84.
THQ established its popular Red Faction® franchise on the Xbox 360® and PLAYSTATION® 3, with an average Metacritic rating of 85 and more than one million units shipped to date.
